A NEW WIDOW & A NEW NOVEL
I lost my brother-in-law a couple of weeks ago. His wife is heart-broken and as I try to console her, I relive the passing of my husband (his brother) nine years ago. During these early stages of widowhood, when you are still in shock, you feel as if you are going to wake up from a bad dream and life will be back to normal. It is the fantasy that keeps us going. The fantasy that gives us hope.
And so it is with my books. I try to give myself and all who have lost someone we love a little bit of make-believe to get us through. So, despite my sadness, I will take up my pen, rather my computer, and continue another book in my Sisters Series. This time I am sending my sisters to Sicily to pick up an inheritance left by an uncle who has just died.
Like all the novels in the series, this book is a humorous mystery with just a little bit of romance. A book to make you smile, especially during a time when you have little to smile about.
