WELCOME TO L.L. LEE'S NEW BLOG

A BLOG THAT DISCUSSES L.L. LEE'S BOOKS. ALL OF THE NOVELS HAVE STRONG FEMALE CHARACTERS. SOME OF THE BOOKS SUCH AS THOSE IN THE SISTERS SERIES ARE HUMOROUS. OTHERS, LIKE JUDE'S BENCH OR A BENCH ON THE BEACH ARE MORE SERIOUS. AND IN SENIOR CAMP 2035, THE WOMEN PROTAGONISTS FACE HORROR WITH BRAVERY AND DETERMINATION IN DIRE CIRCUMSTANCES.

L.L. Lee Novels: SENIOR CAMP 2035

L.L. Lee Novels: SENIOR CAMP 2035: Senior Camp 2035 takes place in dystopian America. Seniors, Mimi and her best friend, Lula are "invited" to attend the camp in Dome City New Orleans where they believe they will competing in sports activities for fabulous prizes. Their excitement turns to horror when they discover the inconceivable, terrifying reason behind the annual camps being held nationally.
My latest novel is a scary one. It's hard to imagine what might happen in the future if America is ruled by a dictator and if terrorism both local and international has changed the whole make-up of society. Today all of our institutions are being attacked. We no longer feel safe in our schools, our churches, our entertainment venues. Imagine what might happen in 2035. Our medical care systems are totally flawed today, so what does a government do in the future when the elderly become a burden? If you read this blog, I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter. On a more positive note, there is redemption in the novel. In a novel so dark, there needs to be.

SENIOR CAMP 2035

Senior Camp 2035 takes place in dystopian America. Mimi and her best friend, Lula are "invited" to attend the camp in Dome City New Orleans where they expect to compete for fabulous prizes such as guarded vacation homes and yachts. Excitement turns to fear, then to horror when they realize they might be competing for their lives.
Imagine living in a future society run by a dictator whose solution to the expense of medical care for the elderly in the county might be . . .might be too unbelievable to even contemplate.
Be prepared to be scared because unlike other L.L.Lee novels, this one won't make you laugh. It does, however, have strong women characters.
